Rhode Resort
Boy do I LOVE a monochromatic look—especially in my favorite color of all time! I’ve always been drawn to anything cobalt blue so I DIED when I found this Rhode dress. I love an oversized look and this dress has that without looking too baggy…it actually looks great belted too if you’re worried about it looking too flowy. The fabric is almost like a linen—super lightweight and easy to wear—and the print is modern and bohemian at the same time which is so much fun for Summer! Some of ya’ll have asked me how to create a monochromatic look in a bolder color like this without looking like you just jumped out of a crayon box and I think the best tip I give is not try to find an exact match for your colors! You can (and should!) incorporate different shades of the same color to add more complexity and interest to the look—I also love to play with different textures to elevate it even further! The most important thing is to have fun with it and be happy with the result and how you feel in it.
I can’t get enough of these Lele Sadoughi hoops! They make such a statement and you won’t believe how lightweight they are…the fact that they almost perfectly mimic the print on my dress was just a bonus!
