The Stone File: March 2016

Hi pretty things!

I hope you all had an awesome weekend and that you're transitioning into Spring beautifully. A few weeks ago I introduced you to an incredible line of jewelry called "French Kande" with an accompanying month of my favorite French Kande pieces from their new Saint Cloud SS16 Collection! Well, I definitely saved the best for last. Obsession is an understatement when it comes to this necklace and you'll see why as you scroll through. Not only does this piece combine three of my favorites things (chunky chains, tassels and white turquoise), but it's also incredibly versatile and pairs perfectly dressed down with a classic white tee just as easily as it complements a LBD.

The Canard medallion centering this piece (also available in Silver here) was created for a popular distributor of food products in France offering everything from fine wines to Nestle chocolates. Gorgeous and a conversation piece...that's my kind of jewelry!

Hi loves!

I hope you're all having a great week so far. I still can't believe today is only Tuesday...who else feels like it's the second Monday in a row? The week may be dragging by but this Lavish Alice jacket from Arelia's Dream makes any day feel like a Friday! There's something that feels so glam about an oversized maxi coat...don't you think?

Hi sweet friends!

Last week I introduced you to French Kande and today I'm continuing an entire month of French Kande pretties with a look inspired by my favorite ring I've ever owned. I love that it's chunky and statement-making like a cocktail ring, but casual and versatile enough to wear everyday! I'll be honest with you...I've barely taken it off since I got it and I don't plan on leaving home without it anytime soon. Can you blame me?

Not only is it gorgeous, but it also has a story: the Messageries Maritimes medallion was for a French shipping company founded in 1851 which trasported people between Marseille and the French colonies in Saigon and Australia -- a two month trip at the time!

Hi lovies!

Not only is it the beginning of March, but it's also the start of "French Kande Month"! If you aren't familiar with French Kande yet, take a moment to browse through their website and Instagram and you'll be instantly hooked. There's something to be said about statement jewelry like this that truly completes a look and makes you feel so special wearing it. I'm beyond excited to bring you an entire months worth of these impossibly chic, vintage-inspired pieces.

If you know me at all -- and lets be honest, we're practically family by now -- you know that I obsess over two things: vintage and sparkle. So when I saw this French Kande necklace featuring a vintage-inspired medallion and Swarovski chain, I immediately fell in love.

Each French Kande piece has a story and this particular medallion was created for a purveyor of fine French tapestries in the town of Rouen, located in the Normandy region and best known for the demise of Joan of Arc. Pretty darn cool, right?
