The Stone File: September 2015

beaming white

Hi loves!

I know it seems crazy, but the holiday's are literally right around the corner so there's no better time to start prepping for the family gatherings, holiday parties and every other social event that comes with the last few months of the year. One of the fastest and easiest ways to update your look is by enhancing your smile -- you'll be doing a lot of it during that time of the year, after all -- by whitening your teeth.

When researching whitening products, it's easy to get overwhelmed with the myriad of options and it's often difficult to decipher which systems are comparable to a bleaching treatment at your dental office and which ones are ineffective or damaging. That's where Beaming White comes in!

I was introduced to Beaming White a few weeks ago and have noticed a huge difference in my smile since I began the system. As a self-proclaimed diet coke addict, it's 100% necessarry for me to whiten my teeth regularly and I have tried just about every whitening product out there, but none that have delivered dramatic results like this. The Beaming White Home Whitening System is made in the USA, dentist recommended and is guaranteed to whiten your teeth up to 10 shades!

If you're interested in safe and effective teeth whitening, look no further than Beaming White. This system usually retails for $149, but if you use my promo code STONEFILE80, you will receive 80% OFF of the entire online store here!

Have you used Beaming White before or are you planning on trying it out? Let me know down below in the comments!

Happy Monday!

There's no better way to start out the week than with a clean, fresh face. Tula -- which is the sanskrit word for Balance -- can help you get there! Starting an effective skincare routine at a young age is so important and will determine when you begin to show signs of aging. Working in the skincare industry, I've learned that it's never too early to take preventative measures with your daily regimen.

Tula is different than other skincare lines because it uses a Probiotic Skincare approach which incorporates ingredients that aid in digestive health to actually protect your skin against conditions that can harm and age your skin. By using Probiotics, Tula's technology stimulates defense cells to protect the skin against unavoidable conditions like stress, chemicals and the sun! Not only does Tula protect the skin with Probiotics, but it's also packed full of ingredients like Nutripeptides, Anti-Oxidants and Omega Fatty Acids.

I have been using Tula for about a month now and have noticed that my skin has more of a natural, dewy appearance, which I love. The Purifying Face Cleanser truly lives up to its name and feels like the impurities are literally being stripped from your face, leaving behind fresh, clean skin that glows. After the cleanser, I applied the Illuminating Face Serum which is, by far, my favorite thing! This serum is meant to promote softer, more even-toned skin all while diminishing dark spots and giving a youthful glow. It's also light enough to wear under makeup! Sounds like a miracle, right?

After applying the Illuminating Face Serum, I used the Hydrating Day & Night Cream, but my skin tends to get a bit oily, so I only applied it at night and that worked great for me. It's a really thick, rich moisture cream that really feels like you're doing something great for your skin. While I don't have any fine lines or wrinkles at this point in my life, this is a great preventative step to take to diminish the prominence of lines in the future. I have a feeling that this cream will be my best friend once the drying effects of Winter wreak havoc on my skin!

Now, on to the Exfoliating Treatment Mask, which I used once a week. I'll be honest, I've never met a face mask I didn't like, but I love this one. This mask does double-duty by using lactic acid to gently remove debris and Bentonite Clay, jojoba oil beads, volcanic sand and Vitamin E to slough off dead skin cells revealing smooth, glowing, polished skin!

So far, I'm very impressed with Tula and can see a real difference in my skin. If you're looking for a skincare line packed with ingredients that are truly good for your skin, and none that aren't, I highly recommend Tula!

Happy Monday, friends!

Today I'm excited to share The Home T with you as part of an edgy little look perfect for transitioning into Fall. First of all, this is one of the softest shirts I have ever worn in my life. I'm not kidding, it's almost sleep-inducing. If that's not enough, The Home T, who you may have seen on Shark Tank, donates a portion of profits to multiple sclerosis research and they are made right here in the USA.

Growing up between South Georgia and Northern Italy, the feeling of missing home is definitely relatable, as it is for so many constantly on the move. That feeling of missing your home was part of what prompted the creation of The Home T so that no matter where life takes you, there is always a small reminder that your home is never too far away. Sometimes it truly is the simple things that can make all the difference.

Hi loves!

I hope that you all had a beautiful long weekend and are now setting your sights on all of the NYFW fun ahead! In a time when much of the fashion world seems to be dominated by fleeting trends, it's refreshing to discover a clothing collection that exists to create high quality, timeless pieces that transcend seasons and quickly become old friends.

Enter, Anjé.

When I think of Anjé, I'm immediately reminded of what the phrase "investment piece" truly means. With collections designed by the beautiful Angela Brasington, Anjé stands apart with pieces created using only the most luxurious fabrics and sillhouettes designed for both comfort and style, resulting in wardrobe staples that give off major "Audrey Hepburn with an edge" vibes.

Anjé isn't simply a gorgeous clothing line, but also a pioneering supporter of the preservation of NYC's historic Garment District with nearly all of its designing and manufacturing completed in NYC. With an upcoming show during NYFW -- Thursday, September 10, 2015 (8 pm) at Gotham Hall 1356 Broadway, New York, NY 10018 -- Anjé will soon be taking NYFW by storm, one perfectly executed piece at a time.

Scroll through to check out one of my favorite pieces from the collection and shop full outfit details down below in the credits!

leopard love

Hi loves!

We're halfway through the week (yay!) and one week closer to Fall. I'm so excited to share this darling midi dress from Dainty Jewell's in what I have come to consider the perfect Fall neutral -- leopard print! My favorite thing about leopard prints is that there are SO MANY different ones to choose from so you can literally wear a different leopard print every single day for two weeks and technically not be wearing the same thing everyday. Super useful info, right?

Anyways, on to the good stuff. Aside from my love for a great feline inspired print, I also love apparel with a purpose, which is exactly how Dainty Jewell's began. Modest, classy and fashionable designs in a wide range of sizes and perfect for a variety of different occasions including options for bridesmaids dresses! Throw in a peter pan collar and I'm in Heaven!

Where would you wear this dress? Let me know down below in the comments!
